Manhunt: RedPine
"A hostile operator is loose in Chernarus. He carries a locked briefcase.
Find him. Kill him. Take it. Unlock it. Escape alive."
What Is Manhunt?
Manhunt is a live-world RedPine event that drops without warning into your regular session. No separate server. No special signup. You play with whatever gear you already have. The event unfolds in real time across the full Chernarus map — and everyone already logged in is a potential ally, enemy, or both.
A hostile operator has been spotted somewhere in Chernarus. He is heavily armed, extremely dangerous, and carrying a locked high-value briefcase. Your job is to find him, put him down, and figure out what's inside.
How It Works
Phase 1 — The Intel Drop
Between 12:00 and 1:00 PM CST, reconnaissance intel will be broadcast in Discord (Redpine-Chat) revealing the general direction of the target somewhere in Chernarus. This is your only lead. The target is mobile, armed, and not going down without a fight.
Phase 2 — The Hunt
Use the intel to track down and neutralize the target. This is a live PvP server — Watch your back. You are not the only one hunting. Other players have the same intel. Trust carefully. Move fast. The briefcase goes to whoever takes it.
Phase 3 — The Unlock
Once the target is down, a second broadcast will reveal the unlock location somewhere on the map. Transport the briefcase there to unlock it and claim the prize inside. Getting there is a whole other problem — every survivor on the server knows where you need to go.
Rules & Details
Manhunt runs inside the normal RedPine session — no event server, no fresh spawn, no special gear loadout. Everything you brought into the session is what you have. The operator is an admin-controlled character and will not go down easily.
- Use your existing gear — no respawning for better kit
- As Always, RedPine is a PvP server, so be on alert
- The briefcase must be physically transported to the unlock location
- If you die carrying the briefcase, it can be looted
- Dates and times are announced on Discord — watch the announcements channel
When Is the Next One?
Manhunt events are unscheduled by design — that's what makes them work. Dates and times are announced in Discord, usually with short notice. If you want to be in the server when it drops, stay active on RedPine and keep an eye on announcements.
